FIBERMARK LASER SERIES
FIBERMARK LASER SERIES - METAL AND PLASTIC LASER MARKING SYSTEM
The Fibermark Laser Series is Epilog's metal and plastic marking laser system. Using a fiber laser source, the FiberMark system allows you to etch metal and engineered plastics with bar codes, logos and text. Print to the laser from a logo, drawing or even a scanned photograph. The large format 610mm x 305mm work area offers a fast, inexpensive way to mark your parts and tools.
Read the Engraver's Journal review of the FiberMark laser system by Steve Spence.
The FiberMark is 100% designed, engineered, and built in the USA.
FIBERMARK
The Advantages of Fiber Laser Etching:
- The laser uses a beam of light as the engraving tool, so no part of the machinery actually touches the material being engraved.
- Non-contact laser etching causes no stress to part.
- The Fiber Laser technology is about 30% less than traditional Nd:YAG systems.
- Open-architecture software compatibility allows you to print out of most Windows software packages.
Epilog manufactures a full line of lasers to meet your engraving, cutting and marking needs. With a complete line of fiber and CO2 lasers, we’re sure we can provide a laser system that is right for your application. The decision to select a fiber laser over a CO2 will be determined primarily by what materials you need to mark. A fiber laser system will mark bare metals, ceramics and engineered plastics, whereas a CO2 laser system can engrave a wider variety of materials, including wood, acrylic, rubber, plastic and more. If you will be working mostly with metals and part marking, the FiberMark is the right choice for you. The wavelength of the fiber laser allows it to mark directly onto metal and engineered plastics, but not organic materials such as wood and acrylic.
